At Redwood Recruitment LLP we provide permanent and contract recruitment services to clients looking to recruit workers for their businesses. Any personal data requested will be used for recruitment purposes only.

(a) We collect data required to be able to determine eligibility for available vacancies and to identify relevant future opportunities. This information includes, contact details, employment history, references, educational records, CVs, identification documents and information necessary to meet legal and statutory requirements. If you progress through the recruitment pipeline, this may require processing of further personal data, including sensitive data (for example health details). In this instance, we will always gain your consent before proceeding.  

(b) Your personal data is shared with the client with whom the employment vacancy exists. We may also conduct verification checks, where sharing your information with a client specific vetting company is required, you will be informed of any personal data being shared prior.  

(c) We may collect your personal data from the different sources below: 

• LinkedIn and Social Media  
• Job Boards 
• Public Domain websites  
• Directly from you, through verbal or written communication.  
• From a third party or agent acting on your behalf.  
• Through referrals. For example, you may be recommended by a colleague, employer (past or present) or a friend.  

We use all sources lawfully. 

(d) We use a GDPR compliant CRM system, to store and process any personal data collected. We will keep your personal data in accordance with the below: 

• Candidates: 24 months from last contact, unless the individual has unregistered. 
• Clients: 24 months from last contact, unless the individual has unregistered.  

(e) For candidates (prospective and active), clients and referees, processing your personal data is necessary for our legitimate interests. Initially, we will collect basic personal data including but not limited to, contact details and work experience. 

• Candidates: we use your personal data to determine your eligibility and suitability for potential vacancies and roles.  
• Clients: we use your personal data to contact you regarding personnel requirements. 
• Referees: we use your personal data to contact you in order to obtain a candidate reference.  

(f) Legally you have rights regarding your personal data, this includes:  

• The right to access 
• The right to rectify  
• The right to be kept informed about processing  
• The right to restrict processing  
• The right to withdraw consent  
• The right to be forgotten
